KDR Artist Management fills that need, holding the light on artists to share their creations with the world. But there's more to art than mere creation. Humanity's very soul and promise lie within our art as it lays bare the human heart and its experiences. It's no accident that art is one of the oldest and truest ways people have shared themselves throughout time. With this awareness, KDR was created to help bridge the gap between talent and need. Our artists share their talent and shape our culture by looking within to explore some of humanity's oldest truths. The KDR Artist Management mission is to provide the platform and resources needed for talented artists to flourish while sharing their creative works with a global audience. With an emphasis on the intrinsic humanity of art and the importance of using artistic works as a medium for sharing and understanding the human experience, KDR strives to pursue and nourish growth and potential. We do this, in part, by representing acclaimed award-winning musicians, entertainers, storytellers, and artists of all types. Working with a diverse cast of top talent that shares our world-changing drive, KDR helps artists push the boundaries of imagination through exploring and growing what it means to be human.
Our Team
Karen Reed
Founder, CEO/President
Karen’s formula for success is based on her ability to form a team of successful professionals in strategically related areas and industries. Her advocacy for education stems from experience in international business, global travel, and witnessing human needs and the potential for solutions. She is an activist for the empowerment of girls and young men, the sustainability of our environment, social justice, and space science. In sum, she is a compelling force for raising human potential.
Karen strategized and executed her interests and advocacy to develop KDR Global Education Solutions and services within the United States and internationally. KDR provides programs to develop the skills and capacity of individuals to reap the benefits of their value and contributory assets to our world. The services are rendered with distinct collaboration between local leadership, corporations, non-profits, and educational entities.
Recognizing the effect of entertainment in education, she also founded and is CEO/President of KDR Artist Management Inc. wherein she identifies and provides talent, produces events, documentaries, and films, including previously representing Grammy Award-Winning producers and songwriters. This includes a number one charting Billboard artist produced by Nile Rodgers. She has access to those who can utilize their talents for the benefit of others.
Karen is a graduate of Rollins College and studied at the University of South Carolina with a degree in International Affairs and International Business. She is the author of the book, An Eye For A Dream. She is a member of the prestigious national honor society for international studies, Sigma Iota Rho, as well as the national leadership and honors organization, Sigma Alpha Lambda. She is an Opus Novum Fellow.
Originally from Chicago, relocating to Los Angeles to work with a top Fortune 500 company for 15 years, Karen now resides in Orlando, Florida. Among her successes, she is a former professional haute couture model exclusively represented by Suzanne Johnson A+ Talent Agency, a Ford Agency Affiliate, photographed by famous photographers, and walked the runways for many famous designers.
She left the bright lights to forge her own runway toward making a difference in the world as an entrepreneur whose goal is to positively impact the lives of people throughout the world to enrichment and success.
Shadoe Stevens
An Artist since the age of 7, an Art Major at the University of North Dakota and the University of Arizona, and a student at the Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles, Shadoe has been creative throughout his career. He is also a producer, writer, actor, announcer, motivational speaker, and award-winning radio personality. He says this is due to an overactive adrenal gland, and chemical imbalance. Among other things, he’s been the host of the most successful and widely syndicated radio show in the world, American Top 40 - broadcast in 120 countries to an estimated 1 billion listeners a week - and became one of the most recognized voices in the world.
As an actor, Shadoe starred in movies and numerous television shows like Baywatch, theShow, and Beverly Hills 90210; was the star of two network series for CBS: four years on the Top 20 series Dave’s World, Max Monroe: Loose Cannon, two different versions of Hollywood Squares, and the movie TRAXX.
Shadoe is the founder, Chairman, and President of “RhythmRadio: The Sound of the World in a Good Mood,” that was broadcast on the radio in 30 countries and created programming online in seven languages. He has won Cleo Awards, the Big Apple Award for advertising, and the Billboard Magazine Radio Personality of the Year Award. Created and launched the most successful rock station in the country, World Famous KROQ-FM in Los Angeles, and the most successful Album Oriented Rock station of the 70’s and 80’s- for ten years the most financially successful rock station in the country - KMET-FM in Los Angeles.
Keturah Kohl
Social Media Manager
Keturah Kohl is our guru manager of social media. She has her finger on the pulse of cutting-edge and immerging technologies, the latest trends, and maintains a keen understanding of followers and fans' interests and response analytics. She has insightful knowledge of how people of all ages learn and consume information and data. She is a graduate of Biola University, where she studied psychology and theater arts.
Levette Straughter
Executive Assistant
Levette Straughter balances that rare blend of no-nonsense efficiency with skilled and empathetic personality. A people person with a masters degree in business management, Straughter has extensive experience working as a C-suite Executive Assistant. She worked in this capacity for Steadman Grahm before her current role with KDR. She applies her impressive skill set and work ethic for both KDR Artist Management inc and KDR Global Education Solutions, where she is heavily involved in business development.
